About Us

Engineers Without Borders Mission

RWU's Engineers Without Borders focuses on community based projects by providing an engineering solution. In recent years, we have traveled with The Foundation of the International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC); our first trip was in 2016 to Dajabon, Dominican Republic. In the DR, we installed 10 cook stoves into village homes. In 2017 and 2018, we traveled to Anconcito, Ecuador to implement water purification systems to provide clean drinking water in two schools.

Throughout the school year, students and faculty collaborate to plan, design, and prototype for upcoming projects. Part of our mission is not only engage the Roger Williams community, but  also engage with other communities through experiential learning.
